Hello guys! Summer is almost here in the Philippines and you know what that means? Striking neon colors, floral patterns, short shorts, maxi’s and many more.

Neon colors can make or break you. Why? because of the striking color it adds to your outfit, and to much “striking color” can be equal to disaster if you do not know what to pair it with.

Just like in color blocking, there are rules to follow that might save your life from wearing disaster outfits. I, only have 2 rules; One is DO NOT OVER DO IT. Do not over accessorize, the simpler the better. Remember what Leonardo Da Vinci once said? “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” unless you what to be in the music video of Nicki Minaj, if you know what I mean. Second NEUTRALS, this is very essential, it balances the color you’re wearing. Neutral can be black, white, gold, brown, nude, gray etcetera. So, enough with my ramblings and let’s get to work.

TIPS

    • It took me 6 coatings to attain my desired color.
    • Wait for 15 minutes when applying the next coat.
    • You can also use Spray paint, way easier than this method.
